H&H Recap - Part 2
 

As you may recall from last month's newsletter, I had an extremely awesome time at H&H Americas in Chicago with my friend Terry.  As it turned out, she had a really cool "hidden from me" talent - Photography!!  Catching moments is definitely her forte! 

A little over a year ago, I got to meet Riley Blake Designer, Jennifer Long in a virtual setting.  We have become such great friends!  She is an amazing person with a great life journey story.  On June 19, 2024 Misty of Missouri Star Quilts introduced Jennifer during the Homespun YouTube Interview, just click on the picture below to watch the interview. You will not be dissappointed!  It's SEW inspiring!

 So, when I found out that Jennifer was going to have a booth at H&H Americas there was NO DOUBT in my mind ~  I just HAD to go to Chicago!  I wanted to meet her in person, and of course, see and touch her quilts, patterns and her adorable Dolls!  I have a secret love of dolls that I have never brought out in the light!  I used to make doll clothes for my Barbie Doll from scraps of fabric my mom would give me.  They were quite sad indeed, but that did not deter my love of the process!  When my kids were young I made them Cabbage Patch Dolls. Remember those???  They were pretty pricey so when I saw a pattern one day, I bought it and got to work.  That was Such fun but the hardest part for me was putting the face details on! 

Ok, back to my little H&H Americas story... I walked down the isle where I knew Sew A Story was set up and as I got closer, as it turns out, there was Terry, with camera all set!  These are so special to me that my eyes are watering as I write this...

	Look, There's Sew A Story Booth and Jennifer!  I'm all goosebumps!
	It's hitting both of us that we are meeting in person - Arms wide open for this bestie! And I am so humbled by her reaction to seeing me. Yep, that brings the tears...
	Ok, now there are big tears, a hug that does not want to end and Oh My how sweet is this?
	She is SO Beautiful!  My heart is so overwhelmed with warm fuzzies!  What a great friendship and now to have a hug or rather lots of hugs!!! Like, every time I went by her booth - Yep a warm hug and big smile!
	And those DOLLS!!!! I can't wait to do these!   They are due to be shipped in the end of June/Early July.  I will keep you all posted!
	A beautiful booth with lots of great new products on the way. One new product I want to try is her Glitter!  Stay tuned, there will be more to come on the Glitter!
