Celebrating 12 Years!

Once again, we are celebrating our Anniversary!  It's been such a fun journey with all of you! How we love seeing all the great items you have created over the years.  We have been so honored to be a part of your quilts and projects! 

  I was so excited to finally meet Karen Abrahamovich, an amazing Longarm quilter! I have been admiring her work for many years and here we are!  Her work is amazing!  I love catching her on FaceBook - I hope you will check her out!

As always, our Birthday month gets off to a GREAT start in concert with the Franklin County Quilter's Guild Quilt Show which is always the first weekend of the month.  For the past two years we have been a vendor there, but we also have been honored to see ribbons awarded to you on quilts we have been a part of.  And, it is especially fun to send my daughter on the mission to select our 'Vendor's Choice' award!  What a tough assignment that is!!! Each year it gets more difficult - all the quilts are just stunning and so unique.  The quilt show is definitely a way to see diversity in a common love of quilting.  We love it!

Our Ribbon went to Linda Wells of Enosburg Falls Vermont who pieced this amazing quilt!  Her Longarmer, Louise Isabelle from Florida, did an amazing job!  We felt it was a beautiful symphony of piecing and stitching and could not imagine the hours of love that had to have gone into this quilt.  Apparently, we were not the only ones as this quilt also won the First Place Award in the Bed size quilt category!  Congratulations, Linda!  

Now another very FUN thing for me at the Quilt Show is to see that some of the beautiful quilts hanging are VERY familiar to me!  This year there were several that I had the honor of being a small part of in the way of longarming.  

The first one is the Guild Raffle Ticket.  It was designed by Sharon Perry and pieced by Sharon Perry and Denise Chase.  A beautiful quilt that inspired me.  I just LOVED the arrangement of color, the movement created in the use of the flying geese blocks and of course, I just LOVE pinwheels!  

And here is another.  Congratulations on your awards, Penny!!  You did an amazing job!
