We are so excited Lori Holt's Bee Dots has arrived!! This is a Basics line which means it will be around for a while. Now, why am I showing the Flea Market Flowers Quilt??? I'm showing the Flea Market Flowers Quilt because this was my very first introduction to Lori Holt! I just LOVE this line and the Flea Market Flowers Sew Along was such fun! Did you know Lori keeps all her Sew Along information on her Blog forever even though the fabric may no longer be available? I get SEW inspired every time I go out to her Blog!
After making the Flea Market Flowers Quilt I found I had 'stash' I needed to organize for future use! Luckily, Lori has a YouTube Channel showing how she organizes her stash. It was SO very helpful and now I have baskets that I organize my stash into by size and colors!! My sister Cathy helped get me started and along the way, other girlfriends have helped me 're-organize' because I get so busy, that the organization just slips away from me at times. I am sure not to be alone in that dilemma!
Now, that being said, I am taking a little walk down memory lane. What quilts have I done or hope to do that I will have new stash for or need new fabric choices for? Here they are...

Autum Love I found this on Lori's Blog after finding Flea Market Flowers and I have been hunting for fabric ever since! I have printed out all the weekly blog posts and I am in the process of collecting fabric. I have some GREAT choices in the Bee Dots line for sure!! Oh, my goodness, the teals and reds in this quilt!!! |

Farmhouse Star - Pattern This is a Pattern by Lori Holt and I am still in the process of stitching it. I used all Bee Plaids as called for in the pattern. I of course added to my stash baskets too!!! This is definitely Quilt of Valor worthy! |

Chicken Salad - Sew Along This Sew Along uses Lori Holt's CookBook Line. It is So cute and vintagy, if that is even a word!! I just LOVE all the Hens and they all have such cute names. One of them has my middle name!!!! Love it! Most of the fabrics are in a box labeled "Diane's - Don't Sell!" How sweet of Cathy to do that, right?? :-) I just have to make this one and I know I will be needing some substitute fabrics as this line has been out for a while. I wonder if Bee Dots will have what I need??? |

HomeTown - Sew Along This is going on now!!! Here is a link to Lori's Blog for the Home Town Quilt Sew Along. This is done using the Home Town Fabric Line just released in July 2023. And I have this on my list too!!! I just can't help myself, but aren't those houses just the cutest??? |

These are just a few of the MANY I want to do, but I must say, Autumn Love is the one that is driving me in selecting fabrics from Lori Holt's fabric lines. When I opened up the boxes for the Bee Dot's line and HomeTown, I knew immediately these will help get me there!!!
The quality of fabric is amazing! I love the low volume backgrounds! The Riley Blake Designs Designers are SEW VERY talented. The way they keep color consistency across lines is heart-warming. It means I can substitute out of print fabrics with new fabrics in some of the older sew alongs and keep the integrity of the original design. I just LOVE that!
Sew, if you are like me, you will want to cruise down the Bee Dots Fabrics and HomeTown Fabrics - You will LOVE them!
Oh, don't forget to peek at Bee Plaids too!
