About CaDi Corners

It might seem like 'It all started' in April 2012, but our story really began more than 30 years ago! In the 1970's and early 1980's stitching fever hit sisters Cathy and Diane in two dramatically different ways and in two opposite ends of the country! Cathy started sewing clothes for her children when living in California, and Diane chose the custom bridal dressmaking route in New York. You also need to know that Cathy NEVER finished her projects (until she had children), and Diane has ALWAYS had the Midas touch! While the miles separated us physically, our hearts were bound together by love and common interests.

In 2011, we went to the International Quilt Market with just a spark of an idea that has taken many twists and turns since then!  We love fabric . . . and we love to quilt . . .and we love to do machine embroidery . . . and we love to knit, crochet, and cross stitch! Phew! (we also love to paper craft, cook, bake, and garden but not as much as the quilting/sewing side of things).

Our foray into the world of Long-arm quilting began in 2013 and Diane has become the expert in all things long-arm! She does beautiful custom work as well as edge to edge for our customers and has been doing this steadily since 2017. Her work is gorgeous and I (Cathy) have been the recipient of her many talents!

Diane is also a professional machine embroidery digitizer! She has done many different styles of digitizing (whimsical, elegant, modern, traditional, etc.) and knows how to bring a special “cuteness” factor in!  She has done this work for several years and again, I have been the recipient of all her talents in this area! She digitizes for CaDi Corners as well as for customers.

Cathy is the writer of the two sisters. Check out our Sister Sass Blog and forgive us for not keeping up with it like we hope/want. She has 9 grown children and three times that in grand-children so that keeps her quite busy.

We are happy you stopped by and invite you to share your creations with us!
